Day 1

After arrival at the airport of Trapani and Palermo, you will head to the hotel in Trapani, where a welcome cocktail and presentation awaits you, with a first-hand experience with “local delicacies and culinary delights” (tasting of typical products and dinner to follow).

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel. Guided tour of the elegant Baroque historical center of Trapani and its churches, where works of art of considerable interest are preserved, for example, the famous groups of statues of the “Mysteries of Trapani” (Misteri di Trapani) in the Church of the Purgatory (Chiesa del Purgatorio).
Transfer to Custonaci, where you can visit the Barbera oil mill and taste local products.
The next stop will be the historical center of one of the five Italian Marian cities, with a mandatory visit to the shrine dedicated to St. Mary of Custonaci (Maria SS. di Custonaci).
Transfer then to San Vito lo Capo, a popular seaside town.
Lunch with fish couscous, a traditional dish of the local tradition, which has made ??the already well-known town of San Vito even more popular. San Vito has, for 16 years, been host to the world-famous culinary event called the Cous Cous Fest, which sees chefs from various nations challenge each other with innovative couscous recipes.
Following is a stroll along the white sandy beach of the town that, this year, received recognition as the “most beautiful beach in Italy “, to then proceed to Erice Vetta and take a guided tour of the quaint medieval village, also known as the “city of science and peace”.You will then return to hotel for some rest and relaxation, and dinner.

Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Agrigento, known as “the city of temples”. We will stop to visit the house where Luigi Pirandello was born, inside which is a museum with objects and documents belonging the writer. Yoou will then take a guided tour of the historical center, the cathedral, which dates back to the eleventh century, and also the Abbey of the Holy Spirit (Abazia di Santo Spirito), with its Gothic rose window, off-center with respect to the main façade, and where the Civic Museum is housed.
Lunch follows, then transfer to the Valley of the Temples (Valle dei Tempi), a place of immense beauty and that, since 1997, has become a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the archaeological area, you will proceed to visit the Temple of Castor and Pollux (Tempio dei Dioscuri), the Temple of Concordia, the Temple of Hercules (Ercole), the Temple of Olympian Zeus (Giove Olimpico), etc., to then return to hotel for some rest and relaxation followed by dinner.

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for Palermo to explore the city of Punic origin and its Arab-Norman art.
Youo will then visit the historical center and its famous and boisterous food market, called the “Vucciria”, and also the Norman Palace (Palazzo dei Normanni), seat of the regional government, the cathedral dedicated to the Virgin of the Assumption (Vergine Assunta) and the main place of worship in the city.
You can then take a stroll in the beautiful Politimea Square (Piazza Politeama), where the theater with the same name was built, located between the two most elegant shopping streets in the historical center (Via Libertà and Via Roma). You can admire the Pretoria Fountain (Fontana Pretoria), defined by the locals as the “fountain of shame”, due to the nakedness of its statues.
Lunch will follow, then transfer to Monreale. Here you can visit the majestic Cathedral, built in its Arab-Norman style, dedicated to the Virgin Mary that, with its famous mosaics depicting scenes from the bible, is an important attraction worldwide. Inside there are many treasures that deserve to be seen, such as the Chapel of the Crucifix (Cappella del Crocifisso) and the High Altar created by Valadier.
We will then return to hotel for some rest and relaxation followed by dinner.

Day 5

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for the salt marshes, situated within the nature reserve of the Stagnone Lagoon. Here you can admire the characteristic salt marshes, where salt is produced, better known as the “white gold of Trapani”.
We will visit an old mill, and then take a boat to the picturesque Phoenician island of Mothia and its museum, which houses the famous statue of the Giovinetto.
We will return to the mainland for lunch on a typical wharf, surrounded by the ancient salt marshes.
We will then move on to the historic Cantine Florio winery for s tasting of fine locally produced wines.
From here, departure for Mazara to visit the Museum of the Dancing Satyr (Satiro Danzante), a rare example of a Greek bronze statue found in the waters of Mazara.
A visit to the historical center follows, with its typical Moorish ambience, and a stop to admire the Baroque Piazza della Repubblica.
We will then return to the hotel in Trapani for some rest and relaxation, then dinner.

Day 6

Breakfast at the hotel.
We will then move on to Selinunte, the largest and most extensive archaeological park in Europe, where you can admire the Acropolis and the numerous temples dedicated to various gods (Apollo, Zeus, Aphrodite, and Athena).
A visit follows to the Cusa Quarries, where material required to build the Selunite temples was extracted.
Lunch follows with local products from the Belice Valley.
We will then move on to Segesta, famous Elymian city built in a hilly area surrounded by greenery. The temple of Segesta, in its Doric style, is considered one of the most intact archaeological monuments handed down by the ancients. Its theater offers a magnificent view of the temple, known for its important performances which bring it to life during the summer months.
We will then return to the hotel for some rest and relaxation, followed by dinner.

Day 7

Breakfast at the hotel.
A tour is scheduled of the island of Favignana, the capital of the Egadi islands, defined as the “pearl of the Mediterranean”, which together create the largest Protected marine Area in Europe.
At the port of Trapani, we will board a boat to the island.
A visit follows to the Florio, an ex-factory and a majestic example of industrial archeology that has been recently restored. The visit continues to the Palazzo Florio and the vast Matrice Square (Piazza Matrice).
In Europa Square (Piazza Europa) stands the Town Hall of Favignana and the statue of Ignazio Florio.
You will then enjoy a tasting of tuna products, given the close connection the island has with the tradition of tuna fishing.
After this visit, return to the hotel for an afternoon of leisure, relaxation, and then dinner.

Transfer to the airport to reach your final destinations.
