Etna

Etna, besides being the largest volcano in Europe, is also one of the largest active volcanoes in the world, measuring 3,000 meters in height. The most beautiful and evocative sites of the volcano can be visited within the Etna park. In fact, you can travel along nature trails, hiking along the sides of the volcano, starting from the Sapienza Lodge (Rifugio Sapienza), at 1,900 meters, up to an altitude of 2,500, where you will come upon a breathtaking panorama from which you can admire the impressive main crater and the historic lava flows that characterize this landscape.
