Ragusa is the city of Sicilian Baroque style that tells the stages of reconstruction that took place in the eighteenth century and that, in Ragusa, shows itself in the palaces and churches (more than 50), in all its splendor. It is sufficient to say that the artistic and cultural heritage of Ragusa Ibla has been declared a UNESCO rorld heritage site. Among all stands St. George's , with its beautiful dome, full of treasures inside, and with wonderful stained glass, frescoes and reliefs in wood. In addition to the magical alleys to visit, noteworthy are the most important squares in Ragusa, such as Largo St. Paul, Piazza Duomo and Piazza Pola. You can feel unique atmosferes even within Hyblaean Gardens (Villa Ragusa Ibla) that arise on a panoramic position of considerable charm, overlooking the Valley of Irminio. Other evidences of the enchanting baroque palaces are the Cpsentini's Palace and the Sortino Trono's Palace.
