Syracuse is a city of great charm and immense cultural heritage so as to have complied, in 2005, the recognition of "World Heritage" and have been included in the UNESCO list. The Greeks contributed much to make it so impressive so that Cicero said about Syracuse: "... the greatest Greek city and the most beautiful of all." And indeed they were just the Greeks to found it in the eighth century. B.C. Testimonies of the various dominations that have followed each other, but you can't miss the large area of the Archaeological Park containing the greek theater, the Roman amphitheater, the famous Ear of Dionysus, the temple of Apollo and so on. but Syracuse is also famous for the island of Ortigia, to which is connected by three bridges.
